OUR STORY
Bilgola Guitars was established by guitar maker Liam Martin as a creative outlet to create high quality handmade electric guitars.
Liam built his first guitar in 1998 as a high school project. Where most people start with a plain S or T style electric body with bought neck as their first guitar, Liam jumped in with a 12 string acoustic guitar as the first build. He still owns this guitar 20 odd years later and still has the same passion and excitement for guitars that started this journey.
Now, Liam strives to create musical works of art from contemporary classics to wild rock and roll machines. Drawing inspiration from traditional acoustic guitar making techniques, fine furniture and woodworking as well as lines and colours of classic muscle cars. All Bilgola Guitars are handmade by one person from start to finish using exquisite timbers and high quality parts to ensure every Guitar will bring you joy and inspiration for years to come.
