The Bilgola Guitars Mufasa model is a small body parlour style guitar. The inspiration for this guitar is the early electric guitars that were created during the transition from acoustic guitars to the invention of the electrics. It uses traditional acoustic guitar influences such as hollow body, wooden binding, rounded shapes, and transparent timber finishes, combined with vintage style pickups and electronics.

In standard format the guitar comes in the following specs:

Body: Chambered Mahogany body with choice of top woods (maple, camphor laurel, blackwood etc) 

Neck: 3 piece Maple and Walnut,

Neck construction: Set neck

Fretboard: Rosewood or Ebony with maple binding,

Electronics & Pickups: Any pickup can be used typically P90s or Humbuckers are recommended, but we can also use filtertrons or any other pickup. 

Scale Length: 25" 

Bridge: Tune o matic,

Tuners: 3 a side tuners of type to suit budget - grover, kluson etc.

Nut: Bone

Finish: Nitrocellulose lacquer, can be clear, tinted or solid colours.
